Choosing me is choosing your story, as I edit, read, and consult with your vision in mind. On that note, CONGRATULATIONS on creating your work and reaching this point in your journey. I can’t wait to learn more about your premise and characters, if applicable. I’ve always had a passion for understanding other people’s stories—whether they are Contemporary or Fantasy, fiction or nonfiction, Adult or MG. My job is not to change your voice, style, or vision, but to elevate them with you. I want to help transform your characters, plot, conflicts, settings, themes, and messages into a living, breathing world or space that readers can delve into with no regrets.

02. Constructive, Not Destructive Criticism
Edits and critiques can challenge your ideas, emotions, and abilities — but trusting your work with another person should never lead to lower self-esteem, confidence, or drive. As an editor, reader, and consultant, my intention is to point out your strengths as well as the things that I think can be improved. I want to help build up your work, not tear it down or try to remake it into something it’s not. So, that said, I will consider the writer and their work with respect and the acknowledgment that I’m not always right. In the words of Joseph Chilton Pearce, which could apply to editors and writers alike...

03. My Experiences
I’ve had over 10 years’ experience as a freelance editor, alpha/beta reader, and DEI consultant for fiction and nonfiction. Furthermore, my degree and background of working in a psychology research lab and conducting reading therapy at a hospice has enabled me to professionally, and personally, develop more understanding of people and being mindfully present. I’d love to give the same attention to your or your character's journey.

As for being a sensitivity reader or DEI consultant, Caribbean, Black American, Afro-Latine, and HoH/Deaf cultures have defined my life. I’m ready to bring these diverse perspectives and more to any project. I value helping writers create books they are proud of and ready to send out into the world.​
